Lots of new products currently in the store. Wide aisles. Friendly staff. A convenient food court. I can usually park fairly close to the entrance. A small disappointment -- COSTCO has eliminated their candy bars and gum/mints. They currently have large bags of miniature candy (for Halloween) but after the holiday the staff isn't sure they'll be restocked. I'll miss not being able to buy Hershey's chocolate bars in the 36ct box at a reasonable price. It was handy for group camping trips and smores.
I suppose every Costco is different across the states. CA and TX both pass out taste worthy samples on the daily as opposed to Burlington, WA. This is how I used to dictate what I buy for the family by testing first. Pickled beets and salad dressing is just short changing customers.
Don't forget about all the other ways Costco can help you save, such as on rental cars, buying cars, vacations ect
Costco is great. I know whatever I buy is a quality product, and in the rare case I have to return something the process is always simple and easy. The stores get busy after 4 and on the weekends so plan ahead. Weekends have samples which is good for finding out what the kids like.
Love this place. The people are super helpful, also cheerful 95% of the time. But sometimes frustrated when stocked products are rotated in and then out and then there's no telling when it'll be back again. The AMT of non-GMO and organic products keeps getting better and better. The Kirkland brand qualities are totally, reliably above average. The sales on appliances and hardwares alone makes membership worth it. The tires and batteries aren't the best deals though. Electronics choices are very competitively priced, but not at many choices. The periodicals section is the same, great prices but very narrow in choices.
We were having trouble finding an advertised coupon item. One employee took it upon himself to find if they were going to receive said item again. He found it was in the store. He and a manager went to find it. Note: we had both looked for it and the employee had looked for it extensively. They found the electrical outlet box behind a case of boxes of light bulbs. This outlet has 2 plug ins to charge our phones. I wish I had gotten his name. He was a huge help.
