Only just taken one class so far (Pizza making) but quickly signed up for two more, that's how much I liked the class: clean, clear and well organized. This was my first baking class and second workshop ever. We were handed a folder with three pizza dough recipes and a soft scraper to take home. At our place on the gorgeous butcher block counter was a white apron with a cleaning towel, a digital scale each, measuring spoons, a sturdy metal scraper and a soft plastic one, a bowl for mixing, a fluted measuring cup (very cool), a large tub of flower, yeast and all other needed ingredients, water and a comfortable counter height stool to top it all off. The instruction took place at the Teacher's Table, watching her work, listening and asking questions, all extremely informative. I learned from everyone, their comments and questions but mostly from the Teacher and her assistant who also went around giving advice as well as furnishing us with everything we need for each new project. We made two pizzas (toppings provided) and saw a third demonstrated; we tasted them all, taking our two pizzas home in neatly folded Pizza cartons and dough for one more. I am now a baking addict. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the whole process, the scent of the dough, the texture while kneading, the instruction, the company, everything.
