I have been going to Bella Soul for years now, both for relaxation as well as therapy. I have never had an unsatisfactory massage. This is the only facility I have been where ALL the therapists are incredibly good. The atmosphere is pleasant, and all of the employees professional and friendly. I've already sent my kids there, and referred many friends!
This review is only to prevent other people from having the same bad experience. My advice is go somewhere else where you are wanted and you simply get what you ask and pay for.
My therapist greeted me with a soft handshake took me to the treatment room asked basic intake questions but didn't seem to take in the words I was saying because when the time came to get a massage from her none of my requests were met.

To add to the problem the manager Ingrid Thorton took days to contact me after I had complained to the front desk. Considering its vacation time around the 4th I understand that. I had my massage on the 3rd my call from Ingrid came on the 6th I had missed the call and she had left a message regarding a typical "sorry it didn't go your way let me offer you a 15% off your next visit..... 15% off a $110 massage.....

So bottom line is Ingrid isn't worried about customer service and fixing the clients problem, she's worried about the dollar.
Why in the world would I return to a spa to receive another massage at a discounted price of 15% when you should be giving a re-try for free when the service is so bad?? If you're so confident in your massage therapists and spa this wouldn't be a problem. It's what I would do at my business but then again I've never had complains. At the very least return my money, $110 just got thrown into your business when I believe it wasn't worth even half that for what I received.
I asked for firm pressure with trigger point work when needed. I received effleurage (light, rub the lotion on the skin pressure) the entire session. Atalie kept bumping into bony landmarks which is the first thing you learn to avoid going to massage school. When she did decide to give me deep pressure, out of no where, it was one time for about 10 seconds with an elbow into my trap. Typically you warm the muscles up then work deeper, Atalie hasn't learned that one yet apparently in her 3 years of being a massage practitioner.
I called back twice left a message once and didn't get a call back until the 11th (today)
The next few days you will normally have a nice healthy glow, not in my case!!! I am so pissed off!!!
I heard good things about this spa but my experience wasn't great here's why...
The only good thing I can say about her is that she's quiet. She's not one to talk through an entire session. so quiet though she didn't ever check in with me about pressure. Some of you may ask "why didn't you as a client/therapist speak up about pressure" my answer to that is my job as a client is to relax when on the table,this is my one one to check out of all responsibilities and just relax. A massage therapist job is to make sure everything is going well and to check in at least once. Considering how she went "HAM" on my trap I knew she wasn't going to make her firm efforts gracefully.

Today I'm already out of Washington state, the time Ingrid had to fix the problem has now passed.
I paid $90. of my hard earned money and was COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF!!!
Yesterday I had the oxygenating trio treatment. This was my 3rd time going to Bella Soul. I have to say that I will NEVER GO BACK! The young lady who did my treatment was not interested in being there what so ever. She rushed my facial and was not friendly at all. I felt like I was a burden to her being there. So trashy!! Normally they do your neck...not in my case. Infact, all I could feel on my face was her plastic glove barley touch my face, NO MASSAGE and NO PRODUCT!!!
I get 90 minutes to make sure the LMT has enough time on my back and I ask for very little on limbs. I didn't get that, therefore my LMT didn't LISTEN to my needs and I left highly unsatisfied.
I was in town to visit friends, sleeping on a couch will definitely kink up your back so I had a visit to BELLA SOUL SPA
