We aren't employees, we aren't family, nor were we friends with Doyle upon arrival. We met him for the first time last Thursday evening, after a long two hour (rush hour) drive from Seattle, to look at a truck on his lot in Burlington. Due to the traffic, we couldn't make it by the closing time at 6pm, so he offered to come back to the dealership after hours to meet us.
The important part: The good to GREAT experience part of this story is that Doyle took the time (late on a Thursday) to get to know us, what we wanted, needed and then, without prompting, noticed that the truck didn't include something of great help to my fiance. When we arrived to pick up the truck, not only did it have the options we agreed upon, but a surprise gift to help my fiance also installed. We were blown away by this personal touch. We now do feel like friends with Doyle and his family who also came out to greet us and wish us luck with our new truck.
I'll keep this part short: Doyle personally showed us the diesel truck, it's condition was outstanding, he let us test drive as long as we needed, we loved it and we made a very fair deal. There was no negativity, no B.S., no waits -- just a realistic discussion on what the rig was worth and what we were willing and able to pay. Doyle was flexible and we came to a price including options acceptable to both of us. He was also flexible on completing the financing and picking up the truck a few days later without hassle. That part is expected from a competent and pleasant dealer to make for a good experience.
My fiance and I just had the best automobile-buying experience at Rallye -- above and beyond our expectations -- and greater than at any other auto dealership we've ever visited and would like to share. I have purchased (too) many cars and trucks over the years with good and bad results, but Doyle at Rallye took it to a whole new positive level with his personal touch this week. I agree wholeheartedly with Frederick D. on the relaxed, no game atmosphere and will be looking to purchase more from Doyle and family when the time comes.

Best car buying experience I've ever had. Customer service extended even after purchase. These guys care about your satisfaction. I live in Oregon. I bought a beautiful SUV from them based on just the internet photos. They worked with me on the price to help me get the car. After driving the car home I noticed an issue and called to see if there was anything they could do. Mind you I signed every AS-IS document in the the paperwork and the responsibility for correcting this problem was now mine. Bob, the owner, spoke with me directly and worked to resolve my issue. In the end he found a solution that fixed my problem and cost me nothing to do it. The integrity at Rallye is unmatched. In the end, I'm happier with my experience with the dealership I had to drive 5 hours to buy my car from than I have been with any dealership near me. They don't just say family owned, they mean it. Thank you everyone at Rallye. The next time I'm looking for a car, I'm looking there first.
